International Delivery Captains is the brainchild of Brandon Bolic. Brandon has over 35 years of experience fishing, sailing, rowing, diving and piloting motor yachts. Water is his second home. Brandon swam, surfed, and played water polo in High school. In addition, he completed the San Diego City Junior Lifeguard Program in Pacific Beach and Ocean Beach. In college at SDSU Brandon rowed in the five seat of SDSU’s eight man shell, competing in rowing events from San Diego to the Bay Area. In his youth, Brandon fished the waters from La Jolla to the Coronado Islands off of the Mexican coast.

Brandon has worked as crew on numerous charter boats including;

  • Shogun- 90 Ton USCG Inspected Commercial sportfishing vessel
  • Amazing Grace- An 83’ USCG Inspected Replica of a War of 1812 Topsailed Schooner
  • Romancing The Wind- A 55’ USCG Inspected Bruce Roberts Ketch

Brandon is also currently working as Captain of Chere Amie, an 85’ long USCG Inspected 130 passenger party boat in San Diego Bay. He served as first mate on this boat for four years prior to promotion to Captain in 2018.

Brandon was also selected to be one of two Captains assigned to the VIP Guest boat for the 2017 Extreme Sailing Series in San Diego Bay. Guests aboard the vessel included Malin Burnham, Cooper Dressler, and Rachel Hunter.

One of Brandon’s biggest projects is the complete restoration of his 1974 Cal 2-29 Sailboat. Repairs and upgrades included a complete engine rebuild, new paint, complete plumbing overhaul, full rewiring, teak refinishing, new running rigging as well as many other projects. A total refit is about 90% complete and the vessel has brought him many hours of happiness sailing on San Diego bay. He has completed numerous trips to Catalina Island, Oceanside, Dana Point, Santa Barbara, and Ensenada on his beloved Cal.

Past delivery experience includes trips from San Diego to Zihuatanejo, Ensenada to San Fransisco, Marina Del Rey to La Paz, and Eureka to Marina Del Rey as well as numerous shorter deliveries.

Brandon has a current TWIC, California Boater Card, as well as a 100Ton Near Coastal Master License with Sailing and Auxiliary Towing Endorsements.
